How To Use An Eye Cream

27th September, 2017

Often the area which we want to improve upon the most, the skin around our eyes is very thin and under constant strain. This means that it’s more affected by the signs of ageing than any other part of the skin. It is lacking in collagen and elastin fibers which keeps the skin looking taut and youthful.

All of this means that it’s important to use and apply an eye cream correctly, to get the best out of your eyes!

Start by choosing an eye cream that best suits your needs, is your biggest concern dryness or dark circles? Fine lines or puffiness? Next, we recommend applying your eye cream after serum but before moisturiser.

Squeeze a small amount onto the back of your hand, then gently pat a small amount under your eyes with your ring finger. This has the softest touch out of all of your fingers and won’t drag against your delicate skin. Pat under your eyes (follow a half crescent moon shape!) until full absorbed. Avoid getting the eye cream too close to your eyes or eyelashes or applying on your sockets.

To target dark circles and fine lines, we recommend trying our Snake Venom Eye Cream. We use a synthetic snake venom-like peptide that helps to soften the appearance of wrinkles and lines. Or if your goal is to tighten and firm the under eye area, our Dragon’s Blood Eye Lift Balm is perfect for you! The active ingredients are instantly absorbed and leave eyes looking firmer and smoother.
